⏳ Can I close Peak PIM while products are publishing?

Yes. Once you've clicked Publish in the Peak PIM app, you can close Peak PIM (or your browser tab): the publishing to your Shopify stores keeps running.

How it works

Publishing doesn't happen in your browser. When you click Publish, Peak PIM hands the job to its servers, which send your changes to each selected Shopify store in the background. Closing the app, the tab or your computer doesn't stop or cancel it.

This is especially useful for large publishes (for example after a bulk edit on hundreds of products): click Publish, then get on with your day.

⚠️ The only thing that matters is that you actually clicked Publish. Changes that are only saved stay in Peak PIM and never reach Shopify, whether you close the app or not.

Good to know

Large publishes can take a few minutes to fully appear in Shopify.
