A variant is a specific version of a Shopify product, defined by its options. If a t-shirt comes in Small, Medium and Large across three colors, each combination (such as Medium / Blue) is a variant.

Key things to know

• Every product has at least one variant.
• Variants hold the details that change between versions: Price, SKU, Weight, Barcode, Image.
• You can manage variants from inside a product or from the dedicated Variants page in Peak PIM.
