📝 Draft versus published state

Items can exist in Peak PIM before they appear in your live Shopify store.

Draft

A newly created or duplicated item often starts as a draft. It's saved in Peak PIM but not yet live in Shopify.

When you publish, the item becomes live in the Shopify stores you selected.

This lets you build out products and collections quietly in Peak PIM, then reveal them when they're ready.
