To add a new custom field to your Shopify catalog from Peak PIM:

Step-by-step

1. Open the Metafields settings

In Peak PIM, go to Settings > Metafields.

2. Click Add metafield definition

3. Choose what it applies to

A product, a variant or a collection.

4. Name it and pick a type

Give the definition a name and select the type of information it will hold (text, number, date, reference, etc.).

5. Pick which stores use it

Select which Shopify stores should have access to this metafield.

6. Save

What happens next

Once created, the field becomes available on the matching items so you can fill in its value and publish it to Shopify.
