# 🔍 Setting up SEO for a Shopify product

Good SEO helps shoppers find your products in search engines. For each Shopify store, a product can have:

* `SEO title`: the headline shown in search results
* `SEO description`: the short summary beneath it
* `Handle`: the web address (URL) ending for the product page

# How to edit SEO

Open the product in Peak PIM, find its `SEO` settings, edit the three fields per store, then publish.

||| If you leave the SEO fields blank, Shopify falls back to your product title and description.

# Per-store SEO

You can set different SEO fields per Shopify store, so each storefront targets its own audience and language.
