# ✚ Adding a variant

You can add a new variant to an existing Shopify product directly from Peak PIM.

# Before you start

The product must already have the options the variant belongs to (for example `Size` and `Color`).

# Step-by-step

### 1. Open the product in Peak PIM

### 2. Click `Add variant`

### 3. Pick the option combination

Choose the values that define this variant, such as `Large / Red`.

### 4. Fill in the variant details

`SKU`, `Price`, `Weight`, `Image`, etc.

### 5. Publish

Publish the product to make the new variant available in your Shopify stores.
