# ⚠️ A product or collection failed to publish

If a publish doesn't go through, try these steps in Peak PIM.

# Step-by-step

### 1. Check the required fields

Make sure the item has the required details filled in for the Shopify store you're publishing to.

### 2. Confirm the store is still connected

Open `Settings > Stores` and verify the store is linked.

### 3. Wait and retry

Give it a moment and try publishing again. It may be a temporary hiccup.
